Being able to prepare a meal or make a short shopping trip may show what a person can do in that moment. It does not, by itself, explain whether the activity can be sustained across a workday. In a Social Security disability review, daily activities are considered with other evidence about symptoms and function. Duration, frequency, breaks, and the ability to repeat a task can add important context. If an activity appears in a decision, ask what it actually shows. A practical next step: describe one task with how long it took, any pauses, and what happened afterward.
Keep the description accurate, including what you can do. I’m Nick Feden of Feden Law Group. Your calm in the midst of chaos.
